My name is Ruth Goudy.
I am a professional garden writer and speaker. I have run a nursery and garden centre for twenty years with my husband and this inspires me to share the joy I feel when I am around nature and flowers. I am on social media and Youtube and would love you to follow me. I believe flowers are good for our wellbeing and the more people that are involved in the conversation about it the better!

Under the floral spell. No words can explain. Just Under the floral spell.
No words can explain. Just 'ahhhh'. Complete contentment as I soak up the gentleness of this dahlia.
I am enjoying creating my flower oracle.

In herbal medicine they are used to boost the immune system. Just looking at them makes me feel better

Just a few bramble flowers left to see on my walk Just a few bramble flowers left to see on my walk The blackberries are out and ripening. . . . about three weeks earlier than usual with tiny little fruit. I find myself thinking of all the little creatures and what must be happening to them with so little water. #norain #Suffolk

Interruption of usual flower pictures today to giv Interruption of usual flower pictures today to give thanks to all the people involved in my care at Ipswich Hospital. Today is my last day of radiotherapy.
I cannot praise the team highly enough. They are so kind and sensitive. This is me on Trubeam - Not nearly as daunting as I thought. In fact I breathe and relax for a few minutes while it is all going on around me. Next picture is me wearing the gown I was given to use for the whole week. I took it home and washed it so it smelt of our home. It has velcro at the top and sides so that I never feel naked. Just the necessary part is opened for the few minutes of treatment. Dignity in tact.
I am writing a piece to share my experience and help take the fear out of breast cancer. @eadt24

We are living in an amazing world where people are here to help us recover and get back to living our lives. Massive thank yous. 😊
